The Olas Altas area is 1 block off the main gay oriented beach, Los Muertos, where you will find the Blue Chairs, Ritmos Beach Club (Green Chairs/Blue chairs). On the beach there’s the Blue Chairs, Ritmos Beach Club (Green Chairs) and Mantamar Beach Club. Many restaurants are gay owned and all are gay friendly. Many of the Bars and Lounges in this area are a mixed, gay and straight. Most gay nightlife will be found in the Zona Romantica (South Side or Old Town), concentrated around Los Muertos Beach, Olas Altas, inland to Insurgentes and south to L. We even had our first Gay Pride parade in 2013
